Atheists of San Diego North County is an organization that brings atheists together, to find one another. Its main purpose is to help atheists feel comfortable in what is mostly a god-believing community.

Our meetings usually consist of group discussions. Independent thought is supported. Diversity in opinion is accepted.

Meetings usually occur in Encinitas. Some prior meetings have taken place in Carlsbad. We encourage individuals from Del Mar, Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, Escondido, Fallbrook and other North County cities to attend. See the Calendar in our Forum Calendar for up-to-date information.

Hiding in the closet? There is no reason to feel embarrassed in telling your god-believing friends that you are an atheist. If Christians, Jews, and Muslims are not embarrassed to announce their faith in front of you, you should not be embarrassed to announce your lack of belief to them. Why should a person feel embarrassed for not believing in supernatural beings?
